Thirty shoots in,
still chasing the frame.

Camera in hand — the tool of the trade

I’m Surya.

I’m a Boston-based photographer, and the person behind SOORIYEAHH STUDIO. I shoot natural-light portraits, headshots, graduation and editorial work — always on location, always directed, so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.

I shoot video too: direction, camera and editing credits on Season 2 of NESN’s Let’s Meet Boston with Billy & Jenny. Same eye, moving pictures.

Thirty-plus shoots in, the rule hasn’t changed: no stiff frames. If it doesn’t feel like you, we don’t keep it.

NESN · Season 2

Let’s Meet Boston with Billy & Jenny

A television series exploring Boston's culture, food scene, iconic landmarks, and hidden gems. Collaborating with Kevin (@kevykevvworldwide), I contributed to Season 2 — directing, capturing footage, and editing the final visuals for broadcast on NESN. Watch the work ↗
